Horseback riders were granted an extra gift this year, when we were able to ride in the Copeland Forest all through the fall and almost up until Christmas, due to the lack of snow (with the exception of a couple of snowfalls that melted quickly). Continue reading Gifts and Responsibilities

Copeland Friends AGM Saturday Feb 20th

Please join us for the Annual General Meeting and User Group Meetings of Copeland Forest Friends.  The event will run from 1 to 4 pm at W.R. Best Elementary School on the Old Barrie Road east of Dalton.  Doors open at noon.

The deadline to become a voting member at this AGM is Sunday January 24th at midnight.  If you miss the deadline, you are still welcome to come to the meeting where we will be selling memberships.  Read More…

Memo of Understanding signed with MNRF

The Copeland Forest Friends Board had a lot to celebrate at their first meeting since the launch October 3rd.  One was signing the MOU with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests, which Mary Anne Greatrix is holding up here.  Mary Anne is the Board’s Secretary, and holds one of the Member-at-Large seats on the Board.
