Copeland Forest welcomed members with warm temperatures and her finest display of fall colours on October 15th. Thanks once again to Horseshoe Resort for the venue and the delicious Barbecue. Visitors also enjoyed the MNRF display of confiscated weapons and the skins of various animals, and trying out mountain bikes from Ride Guides and Bikeland. MEC was in attendance, along with a fascinating display of Black Powder weapons by our new Angler & Hunter representative on the Board, Paul Mullin. The Couchiching Conservancy held a nature scavenger hunt for adults and children, with prizes donated by Velocity, Jack and Maddy’s, and The Bird House Nature Co.
