Summary of the Invasive threats to the Copeland
Over the years numerous invasive species have taken hold in the Copeland Forest. A study of the invasive species was commissioned in 2025 led by master naturalist Bob Bowles to research and catalogue the invasive threats the Copeland faces. Work on this project commenced in 2025 and continues in 2026. At the completion of the Bowles Ecological Inventory Study the details of the invasive species will be recorded on this page. In the interim, a summary of the significant threats is found below.
