Membership Makes a Difference

Help support the Copeland Forest Friends Association, by becoming a member. Membership fees cover the general operating costs of CFFA while other sources of revenue are needed to fund special projects. You can assist CFFA by making a further donation to help our work. All donations over $20 will receive a charitable tax receipt. Annual membership runs from January 1 to December 31.

The Association needs your membership to provide a base for ongoing activities. Your support is crucial to our success.

Role of Members:

As a member, you will select one of 8 user groups as your primary user group. The 8 user groups are Anglers & Hunters, Business, Hikers, Horse Riders, Mountain Bikers, Naturalists, Residents, and Snow Sports.
You will then be eligible to vote for (a) Your user group representatives and (b) Your user group representative on the Board of Directors. You will also be eligible to stand for election.
You may participate in other user group activities, but you may only vote for one user group.
Members have the opportunity to participate in all Association meetings, committees, and activities. Activities and events sponsored by CFFA for which there is a fee will be reduced for members.
Friends will receive regular association updates and notice of meetings, activities, and events.

Hunters and Anglers
Hunters and anglers enjoy the Copeland Forest as one of the largest publicly owned areas that permits fishing and hunting opportunities close to much of the Southern Ontario population.
Local businesses have been important community partners of the Forest for many years. We are always looking for ways to partner with local businesses.
Mountain Bikers
Riders that choose to bike in the Copeland Forest will be rewarded with trails ranging from flat beginner to steep and technical climbs and descents.
The Copeland Forest provides a vast range of opportunities for hiking and walking.
Horse Riders
The wide and welcoming trails of the Copeland Forest are perfect for horseback riding, with great footing and the smells, sights and sounds of the forest.
Copeland Forest is one of the largest, intact forests in Southern Ontario and supports a variety of bird species that prefer forest interior habitats.
Snow Sports
The Copeland Forest is a dream location for snowshoeing, backcountry and cross-country skiing, and fat biking.
